What is our Handstand/Canes class?
A strong, stable handstand is the foundation of circus acrobatics, and a whole-body skill that anyone can learn! In our Hanstands/Canes class focuses on techniques to keep you upside down longer than you thought possible. During our sessions, we will build wrist strength, core strength and an awareness to make minute shifts to continually find balance, focusing on proper wrist and shoulder postitioning, hip and back alignment, and how to stabilize the body. Handstand class will run though drills to strengthen the muscles necessary to achieve proper form. Students will also start to learn circus style hand balancing tricks on blocks and canes.
